About Sky Dashboards

I'm the person behind Sky Dashboards, and I build dashboards in Excel

Most businesses already have the numbers. They live in exports, monthly workbooks and someone's head. I turn that data into a single page that answers the questions people actually ask: where is the money going, how are we doing against budget, and what changed since last month.

Everything is built natively in Excel, so there's nothing new to install or learn. Pivot tables and slicers do the filtering, GETPIVOTDATA keeps every KPI in sync, and when a report has to be rebuilt every period, a VBA macro does it in one click.

Ways to work with me

Pick what fits your numbers

How I work

  1. Understand the question

What decision does this page need to support? We agree the KPIs before I touch a cell.

  2. Shape the data

One tidy dataset table, pivot tables on top, and a calc sheet so every number has a source.

  3. Design the page

KPI cards, charts and tables laid out so the story reads top-left to bottom-right.

  4. Automate the rebuild

A macro and a plain-English guide, so the report refreshes without me.

Toolkit

  • Core

    Microsoft Excel

Native charts, shapes and number formats. No add-ins required to open or use the file.

  • Interactivity

    Pivot tables & slicers

Shared pivot cache, GETPIVOTDATA links, slicers wired to every chart on the page.

  • Automation

    VBA

Build scripts that create sheets, pivots, charts and slicers from constants you can edit.

  • Visuals

    Chart design

Radar, combo, donut and bullet-style charts styled to a consistent palette.
